MARCHA POR LA SOLIDARIDAD No aceptamos el papel que el sistema político y económico actual nos reserva. Por eso no solo queremos rebelarnos ante la situación que vivimos sino que además queremos hacerlo luchando por los jóvenes mas oprimidos. es el mismo sistema que nos destroza a nosotros el que genera muertes por hambre sistemáticamente, el que necesita ejércitos de niños esclavos, soldados, prostituidos,… Operación despertar porque queremos redescubrir el valor de la verdadera solidaridad, luchando para que no haya un solo niño esclavo más luchamos también para que nuestra vida tenga sentido. A principios del siglo XXI, más de 400 millones de niños en el mundo son esclavizados. Son explotados y forzados a participar del mercado laboral en sus más diversas formas: Niños soldados, Niñas explotadas sexualmente Niños asesinados para traficar con sus órganos Niños que son explotados trabajando en régimen de esclavitud… Al privarles de lo propio de la infancia, el juego y la educación, se les priva de la vida.  Son niños esclavos, no niños trabajadores. Este crimen mundial, según las estimaciones de la OIT, lejos de desaparecer aumenta anualmente en número y en crueldad Desarrollo de la Marcha por la Solidaridad Nos situamos en la segunda quincena de Julio del 2014. Para entonces daremos por finalizada la “Operación despertar”. En ese momento todos los que hayamos decidido comprometernos nos encontraremos en una acción común que quiere ser un grito de esperanza. Durante 15 días, 4 marchas cubrirán diversos itinerarios por la geografía española. Juntas simbolizarán la vuelta a España. Pararemos en decenas de ciudades y pueblos, realizaremos actos en cada lugar, unas veces caminaremos y otras viajemos en coche. Unas veces caminaremos los que estamos todos los días en esa experiencia, otras lo harán otros que se unen un día a nuestra marcha. Se producirán miles de encuentros, miles de esfuerzos compartidos que nos permitan vivir la solidaridad que anunciamos y nos ayuden a pensar los pasos siguientes para que toda una generación de jóvenes descubramos el camino de la solidaridad. Esta marcha se inspira en otras marchas que gentes sencillas de todo el mundo han realizado y están realizando. No caminaremos solos, lo haremos al lado de millones de empobrecidos que hoy continúan luchando. Las 4 marchas confluirán en Madrid al finalizar el campamento. 2014 SOLIDARITY MARCH We do not accept the role the current political and economic system has in store for us. For this reason, not only do we want to rebel against the situation we live in but we also wish to do so by fighting for the most oppressed people. The same system that smashes us is the one that systematically generates deaths for hunger, the one that needs armies of child slaves, child soldiers, prostituted children… Operation Awakening: because we want to rediscover the value of true solidarity, by fighting for the end of child slavery, by fighting to also make sense of our lives. At the beginning of the 21st century, there are more than 400 million child slaves in the world. Children who are exploited and forced to form part of the labour market in its most varied forms: Child soldiers Sexually exploited children Children murdered for trafficking in human organs Children exploited as slaves By being deprived of their childhood, right to play and to education, they are being deprived of their lives It is child slavery. It is not child labour. According to the ILO, far from disappearing, this world crime is on the rise in number and cruelty Development of 2014 Solidarity March By the second fortnight of July 2014, we will terminate "Operation Awakening". Then, all of us who have decided to commit ourselves will take part in a common action which means to be a cry of hope. During 15 days, 4 marches will be covering various itineraries throughout Spain. All of them together will symbolize the return to Spain. We will stop in dozens of cities and towns, performing actions in each of them. Sometimes will be walking and other times we will be travelling by car. There will be thousands of meetings; thousands of shared efforts which will let us experience solidarity and which will help us think of the next steps to take so that a whole generation of young people can discover the path of solidarity. This March has been inspired by other marches done by ordinary people from around the world. We do not walk alone, we will do it close to millions of impoverished who at present continue fighting. Four marches will converge in Madrid, where they will meet. From the moment you have this booklet in your hands, you can join the preparations of this march.
